About this position

As Manager Facilities and Development Projects, you will lead and direct our team in driving innovation and excellence across all aspects of our facilities and commercial developments. This portfolio spans facility activation and bookings, project delivery and contracts, building maintenance and the implementation of commercial and public development projects.

Leading a Development Projects team, you will be responsible for planning and managing projects that deliver critical infrastructure under the City's various Development Contribution Plans and Commercial projects.

You will also oversee the delivery of public facilities from conception to community use, managing all aspects of facility operations such as building maintenance, cleaning, procurement, contractor management and activation, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of our community.

• Proven experience in team leadership, driving exceptional results
• Ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets across diverse activities and projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
• Strategic thinking and innovation to implement creative solutions
• Strong project management skills, delivering on time and within budget

Essential requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• Current driver's licence
• Current Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition
