XCircle – Advanced Manufacturing

XCircle is rapidly expanding its Wangara manufacturing facility to meet growing demand for modular critical power infrastructure and AI data centre solutions. We are seeking multiple experienced Press Brake Operators / Benders to join our fabrication team on a full-time ongoing basis.

The Role As a skilled Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming and operating press brake machines to produce high-quality, precision sheet metal components for our power transfer units and enclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC and hydraulic press brake machines to bend, fold and form sheet metal components to engineering drawings and specifications 
• Input and adjust programs on the press brake controller and perform in-process adjustments as required 
• Conduct quality checks and inspections on formed components to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications 
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on press brake equipment 
• Work as part of the fabrication team, assisting with general sheetmetal work, assembly and other fabrication tasks when required 
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area in line with company and WHS standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience operating and programming press brake machines in a sheet metal or fabrication environment (CNC experience highly regarded)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Competent in machine setup, tooling selection and controller programming
• Good mathematical and measurement skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in metal fabrication is advantageous
