Task & responsibilities

• Driving heavy vehicles to transport goods to designated locations 
• Loading and unloading cargo safely 
• Securing loads in compliance with safety standards 
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules 
• Performing routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance 
• Ensuring compliance with road laws and fatigue management regulations 
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and logbooks 
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and clients 
• Reporting vehicle faults, incidents, or delays promptly 

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate II or III in Driving Operations or relevant field (preferred) 
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant truck driving experience 
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC as required) 
• Good driving record and understanding of road safety regulations 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage
