About the role

ACS Technology is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role that will see you working across multiple environments as well as building and maintaining server & network solutions for our clients. What you'll be doing

1. Designing, implementing, and supporting server and network environments.

2. Installing and configuring hardware, Windows Server environments, VMware/virtualisation solutions, and AV systems.

3. Managing and maintaining Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, and other database servers.

4. Configuring and maintaining redundant and high-availability server environments.

5. Monitoring, securing, and improving system security across client networks.

6. Fault finding and providing root-cause analysis with strong lateral thinking skills.

7. Supporting client sites in both the Perth metro area and regional WA (some travel requires).

What we're looking for

1. A hands-on engineer who is proactive, resourceful, and solutions-focused.

2. Must have minimum 5+ years experience at this level of expertise.

3. A high level of honesty and integrity.

4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability with a high level of lateral thinking.

5. Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with proven experience in:

1. Windows Server environments and Active Directory administration.

2. Network engineering and server implementation.

3. RDP experience (Terminal Server Environments).

4. VMware and other virtualisation platforms.

5. Database servers, including SQL and Exchange.

6. Redundant, high-availability environments.

7. System and network security best practices.

8. Hardware installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
