Kitchen Hand / Apprentice Chef Opportunity – Coogee Common

Coogee Common is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our passionate kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in hospitality, with the chance to learn from experienced chefs and progress into a chef apprenticeship pathway.

About the Role

• Approximately 30 hours per week

• Assisting with food preparation and kitchen operations

• Dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organised workspace

• Supporting the kitchen team during service

• Learning professional kitchen skills in a busy, high-quality restaurant environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance

• Availability to work weekends and evenings

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills

• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential
