Dental Assistant

We are in search of full-time assistant or two part-time assistants able to work a minimum of two - three days week, as our gorgeous dental assistant is leaving us to travel & live in Europe!

We are a small private practice, offering a wide range of dental services including general, implant, Invisalign and all facets of cosmetic dentistry. To complement our dentistry, we also offer facial aesthetic services.

Our qualified and passionate team of three dentists alongside our dedicated support staff, strive to deliver exceptional dental care to every patient, every day.

Our days of operation span Monday to Friday with appointments available for our patients between 8am-5pm so your weekends and evenings are always your own.

We pay above award rates with remuneration based on your experience and skills.

About The Role

Your main responsibilities will be:

·         Welcoming our patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for

·         Preparing and maintaining the surgery for all dental treatments and procedures 

·         Maintaining infection controls as per ADA standards

·         Overseeing the sterilisation and maintenance of instruments and equipment

·         Accurate charting and recording of patient clinical notes

·         Proficient chair-side assistance including mixing of dental materials

·         Maintaining the cleanliness and stock requirements within the surgery

About You

The successful applicant will:

·         Hold a formal qualification in dental assisting

·         Have sound dental knowledge & understanding of dental procedures

·         Possess a warm and empathetic approach to patients & be able to build relationships

·         Have exceptional communication & customer service skills

·         Be highly organised, demonstrate initiative & be able to prioritise responsibilities

·         Have high standards & attention to detail

·         Have a passion & willingness to learn & grow

·         Be able to work autonomously but also be a team player with an excellent work ethic

Experience with surgical procedures and implants will be highly regarded although, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Recently graduated dental assistants are also encouraged to apply.
