ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in Perth, WA (Wangara) the Engineer will work closely with our local team onsite. The position is fulltime, working Monday to Friday. 

The key responsibilities for this position are: 

• Administering project activities from conceptualization to execution including technical specifications, stage inspections, progress monitoring, site management and manpower planning

• Reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, quotes and proposals.

• Troubleshooting

• Procuring project material and relaying solutions to the sales team and converting requirements into final designs and scope of works

• Provide upgrades, re-engineering, new lay outs, design and modifications to pumps, guarding, baseplates, and all auxiliary equipment to meet industry, product and customer specifications

• Working with sales, operations and management groups to maximize customer value and growth potential.

The successful candidate will have tertiary engineering qualifications, must be able to work efficiently and accurately within a team environment, be customer focused, self-disciplined and highly motivated. Experience in the pump industry is highly desired. 

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience with rotating equipment

• Prior experience within the mining industry

• Exceptional communication skills, oral, written and computer

• Drivers licence

• Willingness and ability to travel within WA, interstate and overseas if required.
