This pivotal role supports the Principal and School Leadership in ensuring the ongoing financial sustainability of our school.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage all aspects of school financial processing, administration, and compliance.

• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, financial reports, and Business Activity Statements.

• Maintain the school’s fixed asset register, budget, and five-year financial forecast.

• Administer accounts receivable, including school fee billing, concessions, and debt management.

• Oversee accounts payable, procurement, and supplier payments.

• Support payroll processing, contract renewals, and staff registration compliance.

• Assist with financial aspects of capital projects, insurance renewals, and audits.

• Provide informed and friendly customer service to the school community.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, preferably in a school or not-for-profit environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting processes, payroll, and budget management.

• Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to collaborative teamwork.

• Proficiency in relevant software systems (e.g. accounting, payroll, Microsoft Office).

• Commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and a child-safe environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).

• Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or business administration (desirable).

• Current Working with Children Check and relevant clearances.
